Learning
Transforming for Tomorrow

Never think of technology without worrying about teachers and mentors. It is teachers with technology who will make the difference. We have…greatly miscast and underutilized technology’s power. When we enlist technology in the service of exploratory learning for all, watch out! Michael Fullan - Stratosphere

Digital Transformation Strategy

As technology is a field that is in constant evolution, so must be the response and its adoption. Moving from a gradual, reactive and decentralised approach to technology toward an integrated, proactive and centralised approach supports an excellent, best-practice based education experience.

While devices, gadgets and latest trends can capture our initial attention, what is long lastingly important is creating a transformation strategy that has student engagement and learning as a priority. True transformation goes beyond having a SharePoint or two, creating some Teams and running some professional development. True transformation sees staff, teachers and students embracing a whole-system approach that allows for greater levels of; student, teacher and staff collaboration, the ability to nurture the development of teacher efficacy, opportunities for sharing of resources and creating a learning environment which enhances teaching and learning.

TalentInLearning can provide a system or school-wide digital transformation that aims to segue from a fragmented to unified digital solution as well as develop a cohesive approach to transforming teaching and learning for the benefit of each student.
But we err when we expect Ed-tech to carry the weight of the whole story. The iPad isn’t the story. The Chromebook isn’t the story. Big data, algorithms, and personalized learning are not the story. The story – I hope – lies elsewhere: it lies in the transformation of teaching and learning. But not in the objects that initially attract our attention.
